A picture caption with an article on Sunday about how Israelis’ anger toward Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu may not lead to his ouster misstated what a woman was writing on a poster of Mr. Netanyahu and Israeli hostages. She was adding exclamation points; she did not write, “It’s in your hands,” which was already printed on the poster.

    NATIONAL

An article on Saturday about actions by the Supreme Court that have dismantled many of Justice Sandra Day O’Connor’s key rulings misstated the timing of a statement by Chief Justice John G. Roberts Jr. on Justice O’Connor’s death. The statement was issued Friday, not Monday.

An article on Thursday about New York City’s progress in helping homeless people who are severely mentally ill misstated the housing status of the people who have been involuntarily hospitalized by New York City. They include both homeless and housed people, not all homeless people.

    ARTS

Because of an editing error, an article on Wednesday about an exhibition at Berlin’s Jewish Museum about the Jewish experience in East Germany misstated a historian’s name. She is Robin Ostow, not Ruth Ostrow.

A film review on Monday about “Renaissance: A Film by Beyoncé” misspelled the first name of Beyoncé’s father. He is Mathew Knowles, not Matthew.

Errors are corrected during the press run whenever possible, so some errors noted here may not have appeared in all editions.
