The Cheshire East Council has launched a health lifestyle survey aimed at improving the health and well-being of residents in the borough.
This survey is designed to collect feedback from residents regarding their current health behaviors and priorities.
The results of the survey will be used to develop new programs and services that meet the needs of the wider community.
A random selection of 12,500 households has been chosen to participate in this important research project, which will help the Cheshire East Council, the NHS, and the local voluntary sector gain insights into resident views on health and well-being.
The council is seeking input from local residents on topics such as health, diet, fitness, and other lifestyle areas, as well as understanding how residents feel about their lives currently, in order to ensure that services effectively meet their needs.
The survey is completely anonymous and can be completed by up to four adults aged 18 or over in each household. It is estimated to take approximately ten minutes to complete.
All responses to the survey will be kept confidential and will only be used for research purposes.
Councillor Jill Rhodes, Chair of the Cheshire East Council Adults and Health Committee, stated: “We are committed to working with residents to create a healthier and happier future for all.”
“This survey will help us gain a better understanding of the health challenges and opportunities that our residents face, so that we can focus our resources where they can have the greatest impact.”
“If you receive one of the surveys, I encourage everyone to participate and share their feedback without delay.”
If residents have difficulty accessing the online survey, they can email phit@cheshireeast.gov.uk to request a paper version of the lifestyle survey. Alternatively, they can contact the council’s customer service team to arrange for a copy to be sent by mail.
The survey will be open until Monday, 11 December 2023.
