A British man has been found dead in the Netherlands, more than three months after he went missing in Kent.
Liam Graham was last seen on 22 July in Stoke Road, between Lower Stoke and Hoo, in Medway.
His family initially believed he walked off after suffering a head injury in a car crash just before 1am that day.
On Monday, Kent Police were contacted by Dutch authorities who said they had recovered the body of a man. It was confirmed to be that of Mr Graham the following day.
Kent Police told Sky News that Mr Graham’s family has been informed, and added they are “continuing to work with colleagues in the Netherlands to establish the circumstances surrounding his death”.
Mr Graham’s mother Joanna said on the Facebook group ‘Search For Liam’: “I just wanted to let everyone know that Liam has been found. Sadly Liam has passed.
“I just wanted to thank everyone for their help and support. But please can everyone respect that me and my family need our time to process this and be together.”
